It depends on the guild's feelings really. >_> Last time we practiced we were quite close to the first green drop. It depends on how intoxicating that appeal is yet.
The only thing I want in the GoA yet is the Blood Spear.

I am ready to storm in for practice or for real...well as soon as I find a fire weapon and prepare myself for nuking [/lipcurl].

OMG!! Jupiter! You could use my Pre-Searing Crystal sword!!!! It's so shiny!1!! It has absolutely nothing to do with fire.... but it looks great on an ele.... and it's SHINY!!1!!11!
*twitch*
Ooo... sorry about that. *ahem* If you're interested in some loaners, I do have a Lian's Lantern and a couple other moderately adequate offhands. Hmm... I don't have much in the way of wands, though I think I have a fire Wayward wand. Let me know if any of that would help.
Oh, yes, and I'd be happy to do some tanking this weekend.

If Jupiter needs a fire green, Exuro's Will. >_> Have Khunlin bot the easy fire staff boss. He could probably get her one in like ten minutes or less. +15 energy, +60 health is hard to beat.

Time to bump this new thread back from its untimely death. As my mesmer is reaching the epitome of level 5 Lightbringer enlightenment, I thus hereby enslave the guild for said purposes of toppling the DoA as well as making monies and stuff for everyone before Eye of the North.
As such, I would like to begin a timely organization as GW:EN does approach rather fast.
Liadan has also been taken hostage for this particular situation and apparently wishes to run an elementalist as well.
So that leaves two slots unfulfilled with the usual crew of myself, Triia, Khunlin, Kaiser, Jupiter, and the soul eater.
Which two guildies or heroes shall cometh in their steed? Shout off. (Note: This was meant to be humor-ish. So if anyone is offended---apologies).

I recent developments---we've had Malae sign on as a warrior.
So the next question I have goes out to Triia: Would you be willing to monk if your monk has finished NF? Really that's the major gap we have for the DoA as well as where Khunlin had problems---Dunkoro being a stupid heal monk.
The only issue now is a Blood is Power necromancer would likely help out the monks a lot. However, I've thus tested the hero---and he basically refuses to generally make well of bloods and will not use Blood is Power at all (but will use blood ritual). I made him half-monk as well. He apparently spams remove hex for no reason. Will healing breeze himself after using blood ritual and basically ignore the rest of his skills.
So I dunno whether to ditch the concept of a battery necro or not.

Well... monking in DoA would probably be right up my alley buuuut.... my monk is at Venta Cemetery at the moment. That's not to say I'm not willing. I'll move her along as best I can but I'm in my last two weeks of my summer classes so I'm kinda busy. Anyone have any fun non-healing (healing for henches is tedious, at best) PvE monk builds? Hmm... maybe I should practice using Protection on them.... poooooor henchies....

If necessary, my monk has finished the game. I can spam LoD as fast as any hero, or I can bond and let Khunlin put us in God Mode. The only problem is that I think he is only level 2 lightbringer. It would require much LB point farming to get him ready. I've done that with my Ele, and it wasn't much fun.

Monk builds that are fun? You take a monk, give it a hammer, Mo/W and go something like:
Frenzied Defense, Balthazar's Spirit, Backbreaker, Protective Spirit, Crushing Blow, Holy Strike, Zealot's Fire, and Reversal of Fortune.
<.< It's a ton of fun.
---------
As for who is doing the monk:
The issue there is we'd lose an elementalist then. Khunlin told me all that he had seen was 1 tank and the rest were casters. So if Kaiser wanted to go for that preparation---it'd depend on what else Triia could offer at this point in time.
I imagine another Dervish/Warrior wouldn't serve the build too well. Mayhaps a ranger or paragon.

Hey, I'm waaaaay behind. But I am enthused and I plan on playing regularly again so if any guildies want to hand hold me as I get a character to the end of NF I will be ready, willing and able to help in the Mallyx bashing. Yes I'm sure it'd take quite some time but I am perfectly happy playing each night for a few hours and doing longer stretches on weekends to make some serious progress. That type of time commitment from me requires support from the guild to accompany me though because I'm simply not motivated enough to solo all that at a breakneck pace and PUGs are not an option.
