I'll likely need one entire day for my presentation. Mallyx can equivalently be done in one day only if you actually do the quest all day or so I've heard.
Hence my statement. I could probably allow only one day this weekend for the sake of the Mallyx quest.

Alrighty, just double checking here, but at the moment we have Delor, Mura, Jupiter, Kaiser, Triia(almost) and myself ready for DoA?
That's two Eles, a Paragon, A Warrior, a Monk, and a Ritualist. I might be able to get another human Ele or Necro in a pinch... but I certainly wouldn't mind another human monk. Malae! Get here?!
Also, Mura, what's the battle plan? Are we only to know moments before we head in?

Well, as a ritualist I can heal as well and so forth. Unless you're very optimal in wanting spirits or lightning damage.
As for the battle plan, the basic doings are now pretty much specified in guildwiki for the various quests. We can go by that or do randomness.

Well, I was just wondering because I had been looking at the GWiki builds for DoA, and some of them involve very specialized tricks, like one which has a Necro and a pet, the Necro runs around in the Foundry 'till the pet dies (Damage from movement environment effect) behind a gate, allowing a monk to Necrotic Traversal to it and get out of range of a spawn, so they can rebirth. Will we do things like that? (it doesn't have to be a necro, of course)

I was going to order us in regards to what we "have" to do. I figured it'd be discussed as a group prior to each location. *shrugs* If you wanna do the tricks off the bat though, I don't really mind.

I still would like a date and time for starting this. That way we can make plans for the other big night of the weekend...unless the plan is to do this both Friday and Saturday? Question, can you earn LB points IN DoA? (currently wiki-less or I'd answer my own question)

I don't have as much problems with a time. It's more so the main supporters that will. <.<

My warrior is all set and at lvl4 LB. Well... the only thing she might be missing is an appropriate elite. I went out to get Obsidian Flesh last night (assuming that's what I'll be needing) and had forgotten to change my secondary. Certainly won't be a problem to actually get it... assuming I'm done with that kind of silly mistake.

Does Mallyx use a spell to do that nasty thing he does to Enchantments? Or will OF only make it possible for him to disable one of our skills each?

Well, Defy Pain would likely be more useful, Triia. If you go the strength tank route of:
Defy Pain, Endure Pain, Dolyak Signet, Cyclone Axe, Healing Signet, Flail, Lightbringer's Gaze, unspecified rez. That would probably work best for the parts of the quest prior to Mallyx. The other would likely work on Mallyx.
As for Mallyx, it's a spell that he casts with a 3/4 cast time.
All Enchantments are removed from caster's target foe. For each Enchantment removed in this way, one skill is disabled on all foes for 6 seconds.
Generally he goes after the monks using this and other spells. So they tend to bring Spellbreaker.

I saw Obsidian Flesh tanks in most of the builds I looked at, because it allows protective measures (Bonds, Prot. Spells) to be used on the tank without them being stripped right off by the Mezzies and Necros. I wouldn't mind trying Defy, but, as the Monk, I'd like to maximize my chances of being able to... not let Triia die

Well, I have Defy Pain and I'll head out and get OF in any case ( /ROAR! REVENGE ON MY FOOLISHNESS!!)... uh.. you know, just so I have it.

I'm in charge of the Mallyx bit? I wasn't aware that I was. Given I'm not able to post official quest posts and so forth on the forum. I always assumed it was in your hands. *shrugs*
As for the build I've stated. I've done it a lot. The idea is also in the stats. You have 16 strength. You wear sentinel armor. You can go 9 axe mastery or none depending on how much damage output is needed. Tactics adjusts with that.
Plus Flail pretty much allows Defy to always be up.
With the 162 armor against everything (not to mention the varying degree of 1,000+ health), it's not really needed to well...stop spells. I'll demonstrate as such if you want me as my warrior in FOW.
