P.S. Yunno...it really sucks when there are 100+ people at your college that you already knew from HS, and most of them you hate...or you really wanted to get away from some friends. Oh wells. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean... /thread derailment

Sounds like it's going to be a quiet night tonight. I'm not sure that I'll be playing, silly birthday plans and such....
Do we want to make some official plans for this weekend? The official Running Amok in the Desert night needs to be rescheduled, there are some new PvP builds I'm sure people want to try, we still haven't done Tahnnakai (unless I missed it somewhere along the way D: ), personally, I have several characters that have been mouldering at some of the missions for a ridiculously long time...
What is the Great Republic up for this weekend?

Ladder freeze...time for GvG experimentation. I say we devote at least one full night to Khunlin's build, since it is the most advanced as far as development. Then we can pull out any sort of wacky ideas, unless someone has a specific build they want to try. What say you?

So who's up for some GVG Dealage PIE tonight? I'm hoping we'll have interested persons enough to make a sign up sheet. If not...hm, on with the missions!

I'm in the mood for some pie. And just to be completely unfair yet technically by the rules, dibs on shock warrior or thumper!

Nevermind -.- Again, when I get the chance, I cannot join. People have decided to FORCEFULLY (note: I was not willing) make me go to the first home game for football tonight, so I do NOT know when I will be back. If GvG is still going after I get back, I can play Choking or Petless Thumper.

Again, I'm not sure how long my social obligations will keep me. I'll log on when I can but don't wait for me. When/if I show up, I could play the thumper, choking gas ranger, monk or maybe the warrior. I've never had a chance to be a runner in GvG, I wouldn't mind trying that out if the slot is open.

Alright, we want to decide what we're going to do for tonight so when it gets here, we can just party up and go! (Because we all know it's actually that easy)
This is HLR, so I thought planning nice and early would be best. Doesn't get much earlier than almost midnight the night before, eh? At least, not "same-day" planning.
So... 6-person Halls tonight! We could run many things: Mini SB/RI, Balanced, Mini GB, Dual Smite... the first step is deciding what we want to run! The polls are now officially open, if you're going to be around tonight, please say so and say what you'd prefer to run. There are other options, of course, I just listed those four as examples.
I guess I'll start by saying that mini GB spike would get my vote if we had the patience to practice the spike on the Isle of the Nameless a bit beforehand. Otherwise, I vote balanced.

I would like to try mini-balanced, but mini-dual smite farms fame pretty fast if thats our goal.

I have the patience, so I would like to try out the GB spike. However, I would like to look at SB/RI a little more. Not necessarily the build I put up already, but one like it. That's my vote.

I vote for some complicated one (SB/RI since I've never tried it) to start with and if we go for a while not getting Delor the fame he needs (or anyone else close for that matter) I say we switch to smiting/balanced.

I think I'll agree with Jupiter here, giving GB my "starter" build vote, and balanced my "starter didn't work" build vote. Just to make things complicated.
EDIT: I just found out that our Labor Day (or whatever holiday it is) get together is tonight, not tomorrow... I should be able to get on at the normal time, but no guarantees.

I vote for the complicated build to start, too. Which would be better as a six person build, SB/RI or GB? I want to have a chance to try both, but I'd rather be earning fame than spending a lot of time learning to coordinate a new build.

The SB/RI build I put up is specifically designed around a 6-person team, but it looks like Khunlin has been able to modify his GB team into a good 6-person team as well. So either will work as a 6-person team. Don't forget that this weekend extends through tomorrow as well, so we still have 2 more evenings to play for double fame.
