Soooooooo.... would anyone like to do anything organized tonight? I'm sure people will still be playing around with the new classes. PvE-wise, I believe there are quite a few people at Naphui, that would be pretty easy to get out of the way. I have a ton of stuff to work on (anyone else need to collect Kurzick faction?), so if everyone is going off in their own directions, that's fine with me too. Suggestions? Requests? The forum has been.... ghostly lately.

Syb, I know it's a bit late to reply on your mini-rant there. I apologize for not understanding how confusing it is for someone new to get all the names down. I'm now uniform in my forum and vent name. I'm not sure if you noticed this, but on the left of your screen there where it lists the person's name, there is a title underneath it that lists the person's primary character name for clarification. For instance, Logo's forum name is Narcolepsy, but underneath his name it says "Logonitur Karn" There were two people who had different forum names but didn't have that. Darksabre (Ducky, or Lieutenant Darkwind) and goingincognito (Bryce). I added their primary character names to their account. That title is there if it's needed. For instance, Delor's forum name is Delor. So there is no need for the title. I wouldn't feel right going around and changing everyone's names, but I hope I helped a little. Also, this could help with some of the nicknames, althought it's a little out of date. As far as Guild Events being mandatory, I can see ups and downs to it. Obviously nobody wants to be told what to do with their leisure time, but everything would be smoother if everyone read the forum and knew what was going on. The more people who read it, the more guild participation we get, and the more fun we have. I for one enjoy playing with you all much more than playing with henchies

Thanks Malae. I did notice the little name underneath, and the exceptions. The list in the link looks quite useful. Should we try to get it current? I think we could make a policy that states guild event times mean you have your character and build ready to go and are waiting in the guild hall ready to accept your group invite. So the actual start time is 30 minutes prior so everyone can get ready. If people aren't ready on time, we get to toss a pie at them...or some other creative 'punishment'. It's not too much to ask people to show a little organization and forethought so as not to slow down the rest of the guild. I am a bit unclear why we have the forums organized so that we have a sub board. It actually took me like a month to realize it was here, and that was because people were talking about it on vent. It's sort of hidden and it's the most active board. That seems weird to me. Can we reorganize at all?

How about late fines? Something like 1k per 5 minutes late, unless you have contacted someone to let them know. Max fine could be something like 5k, because after 25 minutes, we'd have probably replaced the late person. Fines could be put into the guild account for use in prizes and other guild activities (e.g. organized trips to the underworld/FOW or tips for ferries to the elites). Whatdya think?

I'll try to get that list current, if I can figure out how! As for being on time, I hope I made it clear in my last post in Guild Events. Speaking of Guild Events, if it was a main forum, I think the visibility woudl help, Logo? Kaiser, are you insane? I get my head bit off when I nag people for being late, you try fining people, I like my face thank you very much

Poor people better either start earning money or learn to be on time...
For clarification, this fine wouldn't be incontestable. If you have a valid reason for being late (e.g. we have company again) it is perfectly reasonable for you to be able to contest the late fine. There are late fines for all sorts of entertainment - library books and rental movies come to mind. These fees are based on the fact that your tardiness limits the ability of others to enjoy that entertainment. The same applies here - if you're late, you're impeding the rest of the team's enjoyment of their chosen form of entertainment. It doesn't cost real money the way those other items would, but IMO it does offer an incentive to be on time, while benefiting the guild at the same time.

I think a better punishment is "Hey, you're late. We replaced you, so go away and do whatever late-making thing you were doing late-face."

Back to the subject matter, I feel the need to finish the game with my next character. My poor ranger has been sitting at Unwaking waters for months, I'm sure of it! Anway, anyone else who is there want to do that tonight/tomorrow night?

Thank you Jupiter. I'd love to get in on that. I have three, THREE! (omg, kill me now) characters at Gyala. If it's decided to do Unwaking Waters tomorrow, I'll try to get one there tonight. If not, I'll bring poor Galen along. He's getting a bit dusty.

I've got characters at Gyala and Unwaking, so i'd be interested. Unfortunately i've got my regular shift and won't be back until 10:30 EDT. So, don't wait up for me Silly me, I was so tired last night I forgot the main point of my post! I wanted to do some HA tomorrow night, with a real build. FoC perhaps? Haven't done it in a while. Could be nice to do a little pvp before jumping into a weekend of pve Also, it's my day off, so I could start nazi'ing very early. Missions are fine with me too, though

Ok, here's my deal...Rhea still needs to finish the game with her first character through. I propose doing that Saturday: Raisu Palace at 9ish and You-Know-Who after that (leaving plenty of time for those of you that have better plans ). That means anyone who has a character from about the Hatchery on, has time to catch up. I also propose the hatchery and unwaking waters tonight and or Friday night. Now, I'd like to do some PVP too and I think with our pve dealage we can cut through either/both of those pretty fast. Who needs what and when can you be there? Feel free to shoot me down I just needed a plan. I have 2 characters at the Palace so I'm set for Saturday. As always, I'll help out wherever I'm needed; I would like to get masters with my monk. Also, double the fun weekend PVE-style, so bring your keys!

Sounds good to me! I have characters at Hatchery and Unwaking, Kurzick and Luxon. None need Raisu, but I can bring Khunlin or Kynon to help out if I don't manage to get through Unwaking.

That sounds great, Jupiter. Count me in. I also agree that we should try to fit some PvP in before Phame combusts from frustration. Some FoC, perhaps?
