Newest round of updates:
FC Water eles smacked with the nerf stick...now you'll actually need to be an ele to do it. Order of undeath brought back to normal (thank goodness). Mind blast nukers get buffed. Seems Anet really wants eles to be fire only. Jupiter will be upset by the nerf of sloth hunter. Overall, I think this was a pretty good update.

I don't think FC Waters were nerfed that badly. Glowing will still give 5 energy, and most higher-ranked FC Waters were using stuff like Drain Enchantment instead of Water Attunement. It basically makes them not the obvious choice over Eles. Eles can spam more, but a Me/E is still more likely to get those spells off. At our rating bracket, we could probably get away with Eles  |

Glowing also costs 5 energy, so basically it is a non-spammable low damage water skill for 0 energy. To get some energy management out of it you will need the Ele's e-storage line. Drain has an even longer recharge than glowing. And don't forget that Shackles is now 10 energy, so extra energy management is required for mesmers.

Alright... relatively small update (still waiting for November's big one  ) Highlights: -Moved NPC's to make ganking more fluid... we'll have to check out our hall in a scrim or something -Dropped Hidden Caltrops out of the metagame (thank goodness... was a pain for the monks  ) -Immolate and Burning Arrow got BIG buffs... kinda strange, since MB Eles and BA Rangers fill basically the same role in a team, but now both of them are good choices. -Incendiary Arrows dropped to 5 sec recharge... will probably make MB Eles and BA Rangers even more popular -Backbreaker can't be used by those damned Assassins anymore... maybe it's safe for me to return to HB?! And, most importantly: -Finally removed IRON MIST from GADD in the G.O.L.E.M. Mission! FINALLY! |

You're kidding, right? You think that's the most important update? They've finally sped up Leah Stone's path for the bonus in Abaddon's Mouth! I can only imagine the hundreds of people who were going for Tyrian prot but giving up for that reason are rejoicing at the moment and finally getting their titles. Also, they removed Cyclone Axe from the GL to take care of that Insidious Petway thingy that I think Epic used to run. And, yes, Khunlin, I think it may just be safe... for you. Me, though, I just weather through those perma-KD assassins because I'm not a sissy! D:Also, you said Incendiary was dropped to 5 sec when I think you mean upped to 5 sec? =o Oh, and Isle of Meditation's off the tournament rotation list now. Bummer, brah'. |

Yeah, I noticed the Leah Stone thing, but SOME of us already HAVE Legendary Guardian and don't care about things that only effect you mortal types.
I said "dropped" as in like "dropped in effectiveness"... my mind works in strange ways.
But yeah, I may or may not be a sissy.

Yeah, well, playing defensively doesn't win games or get you up the ladder!  (speaking from personal experience - my last attempt at an HB tourney was just me indulging in seven awkward rounds of crying near my base for the buff, and the other guys just capped everything and watched me cry. That, surprisingly, was not a boon to my rating.) |
