Did anybody else note that they said they've introduced "four" classes: Elementalist, Warrior, Ranger, and NECROMANCER. Has anyone seen aything else on the Necro class? There's nothing I can find on the main website. The official Guild Wars 2 website will have information on the Necromancer on the 25th. See the GW2 Wiki. |

Whoa.... I was only going to watch the first few and then go to bed but ended up watching all nine of them. Well worth it! Those last two especially were amazing. Oh... and the dome in Divinity's Reach... wow...  Yeah, it looks like the setting has overall been played with a lot. Though, the character design doesn't seem that different from the current GW. So that's an interesting mix. Did anybody else note that they said they've introduced "four" classes: Elementalist, Warrior, Ranger, and NECROMANCER. Has anyone seen aything else on the Necro class? There's nothing I can find on the main website. Yeah, I noticed it as well so I figured it was pending. As Mal later answers. There's also a total of 8 now. So my guess is Elementalist, Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Mesmer, Ritualist, Assassin, and maybe Paragon or Dervish. Or the last three have been replaced with new ones.  |

I noticed that he said something about it being announced at the convention. Hopefully that means we will hear about it soon.

Interesting video. I wouldn't put much trust in any date out there other than one announced by ANet (I sure hope that's not right... ES V: Skyrim is supposed to be coming out in November). I was just thinking about GW2 news today. It's been ages since they've released a new class. I wish they'd start that back up again. I keep hoping that there will be an explosion of information or maybe even a beta this spring. They do enjoy their anniversary.

OMG, I have powers!! Psychic powers??? Yes! I was just thinking about GW2 news today. It's been ages since they've released a new class. I wish they'd start that back up again. They last released the Necromancer in August. Five days after I said that ^, we get the Guardian! What other explanation could there possibly be?! I can't get all the skills videos to play.  It looks like kind of a meh class for me, though. Not really my thing. |

It looks like kind of a meh class for me, though. Not really my thing. Sometimes they won't work, and you have to refresh or try another video back and forth. How it works for me. It's an interesting concept though. It seems to be a melting pot of the Paragon (with virtues versus command/motivation), smiting/protection monk (i.e. invinci-monk build, sorta), wards, and ritualist weapon spells. It looks like it'll play like a paladin, of sorts, in any other game. So it looks like a lot of fun to me. |
