I don't feel like rifling through 30+ pages of other peoples' comments, so I'll put mine here:
I'm thinking they could have the Consortium sell Guild Hall Fractals. That way you could have a large number of designs, and they can all be instanced. The problem is what currency to use to purchase them. It would have to be tied to guild activities, but still attainable by smaller guilds (we know how hard it is to get the "merits"). Perhaps things can be unlocked with guild influence? Maybe they can give out tokens to people who win tournaments. Or maybe Zommoros can give them out occasionally like a legendary weapon or something.
I dunno. Someone help me flesh this idea out.

I think buying instanced themes, like the fractals, with a guild currency would be the best way to go. I would definitely want them to make it influence, however, and attainable by smaller guilds. If not, they'd have to rework the merit system so smaller guilds can participate. Placing the ability to achieve themes throughout the game world with different activities is a great idea. It doesn't pigeon hole people into a "I HAVE to do this to get this" mentality. Of course, I'd remove any RNG aspect of obtaining them. I also wouldn't mind them selling some in the store, because I know it would make a profit. Just have equal amounts obtainable in-game as well.

Yeah, putting the guild halls in fractals is a really cool idea. Might be kind of lonely out there though...
One idea that just popped into my head is having "grounds" around the guild hall, where we could build little individual houses and gardens and stuff. We could even make our own peasant village.
