" Wildstar is an upcoming fantasy/science fiction massively multiplayer online role-playing game that takes place on the fictional planet Nexus, where a mysterious and powerful race known as the Eldan has disappeared leaving behind a wealth of technology and secrets for players to explore." It has a subscription and a (somewhat)buy-then-play-forever option available, detailed here . Basically, you get one free month with the box purchase. Then you pay for game time by either the traditional sub method, or pay in game gold through a marketplace to other players who have bought C.R.E.D.D (gametime currency item) with real money. From what I've played of this title, it's pretty fun, great animation and design, sweet actiony combat, and a unique sense of humor. Also the Exlies remind me of Firefly *nostaglicflashback* a bit. So definitely a good one to hit up if you're cool with their business model and want to try something familiar but different. I plan on getting it on release, and I think a few others are too? Hope to see some of you guys on Nexus!  |

For the open beta, My char is still there from the last beta... I'm personally on the pvp server: Pergo I'm playing a warrior: NoPantsHero With the browncoats, erm resistance, erm exiles, because screw the imperial overlords and all their nonsense (as rebekah said, firefly nostalgia is real) Fun game, combat system and dodging like guild wars, class system standard, but a fun futuristic taste. haven't made it to group content, which is what I really want to see, I'm level 12 as I make this post.
