If anyone has friends that have already picked a server, that would be good to know. Also, we need to figure out which server 4chan is going to, and not go there. Also nothing with "Dark" or "Sorrow" in the name. |

Ha, I was just thinking about posting this, thanks for getting around to it. This has a good list of current communities: www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/32389-world-choice-guilds-and-communities/As such, looks like we'll be staying away from Anvil Rock. Personally, I was originally thinking about sticking with Henge of Denravi, but I'm not 100% sure. Obviously, I've been away for quite some time, so I don't know what everyone's tastes are now, but I would really love to be on a WvW -driven server. As such, I might suggest Darkhaven (yes, yes, I know, it has Dark in the name), as that's the US-side Reddit server, and they seem to be pretty WvW-driven. |

I'm not set on anything at this point, as long as it doesn't involve a server that is home to a bunch of obnoxious children, such as Logo mentioned. What kind of stuff is Carmen's guild into? Are they mostly PvE or do they do some PvP as well?

I haven't really had much thought-wise. I was still hoping Anet would do away with the rather ridiculous world change fees and all that at launch. I guess they haven't learned their lesson yet there.

I'm leaning pretty heavily towards Henge of Denravi. Apparently a lot of the GW community fansites are going to be there, which I hope will promote a fun atmosphere. (And hopefully a strong WvW community.)

Henge of Denravi is fine with me. I won't be logging in until Saturday morning. And even then, probably just to make a character or two (human or sylvari ranger?!?! GAHH!!!) I was still hoping Anet would do away with the rather ridiculous world change fees and all that at launch. I guess they haven't learned their lesson yet there. Mura, I think they're going to give it a week or so to let things settle a little then allow transfers. I can't remember where I heard that, though. |

Henge of Denravi should be fine then. ^^; I just hope with so many preorders we don't get a scenario where we get split up like people were raging about during the beta tests (why I hoped they'd do away with it though I kinda understand the purpose for World versus World and all that).
I don't really have any other thoughts. I'm mostly planning to remain flexible depending on how fill-up goes / potential server crashes due to not being prepared to handle all the traffic.
Edit: Also, it seems my old hard drive is starting to show wonky signs of failure. So if I just so happen to not be around as everyone is starting up... that may be why. Computer is going in to be diagnosed on Monday in that regard.

But... but... Guild name!
I'm happy with Legendary Indecision [HLR] but I liked some of the other suggestions too. Honestly, it's so easy to just make up guilds and whatnot, we could always change it later. In any case, I won't be officially on until Sunday night (please someone come play with me! (I'm sure I'll pop on Saturday and Sunday morning after I get home from work to get some characters made and get a fix)) so, you guys are all left to your own devices. Behave!
