What would be enjoyable for me is an assassin that deals swift death to everything on her path or a monk that gets the gods to smite all that evil for him. Also interesting would be a necromancer that blows up corpses like big fleshy bombs to spatter the bad guys with poisonous gore. Any of these would be acceptable.

I am in the please-for-the-love-of-all-things-don't-make-me-frontline-or-we'll-all-regret-it group. I will dervish if there are lots of others with me but that's about it. I want to be back out of the brouhaha (yes, I did have to look up how to spell that  ) with a caster or a ranged physical. Other than that, I don't care. My drops are body parts regardless of HM/NM; I've got the statue on my account already. I'm just there for the company and to help with Kaiser's shards. If I have to say that I prefer ranger, monk and ele one more time on this forum I am going to spit fire.  (see?...spitting fire!...or maybe drooling it?) Heck, I don't even want a cupcake!  |

Okay, everyone gets cupcakes except for Jupiter! And Kiwi!
So, assignments:
Triia on DPS Assassin (let me know if you really want to HB War)
Mura on DPS Assassin or Scythesin
Kaiser on Smiter (say whaaaat?): Holy Wrath, Castigation Sig, Smite Condition, Smite Hex, Reversal of Damage. Last three spots depend on what elites/PvE skills you have/can get: Tease, Unyielding Aura, Ray of Judgement, Signet of Removal, By Ural's Hammer, Great Dwarf Weapon, Ebon Battle Standard of Honor, *Other skills I can't think of atm*
Or DPS'sin/scythesin if you want
Jupiter on Thunderclap Air, Interrupt (Mesmer or Ranger), Spirit Rit, Smite Monk, Imbagon, or Prot Monk.
Myself on DPS frontline, imbagon, or prot monk.
Heroes on frontline buffs/minions.

That caused such an uproariously harsh "HA!" laugh from me that I started choking. thanksI should be available either night. I won't prot monk so that you can, Khunlin. No more guilt trips! I also won't spirit rit or smite monk. No complaints here...how could I? |

Well, if I was able to prot monk, I would have put myself in there and ignored your protests (remember the dictator thing?)
But it's not really a Physical Distructo-crushination build with only two frontliners. So you may end up monking after all (I'm pretty sure this is how it keeps happening, anyway)...
So take your pick of Thunderclap or Interrupt (they serve basically the same purpose) and try to bring the awesome PvE skills like Great Dwarf Weap, EBSoH, or Ural's Hammer. (Bring Technobabble on the TC Ele for extra awesome?) And I'll see if I can make a good hero frontline build... if not, you get to monk!

I'm working Saturday night. I really don't think I have a preference between assassin and warrior. Was the Flashing Blades assassin that I used in UW considered a DPS build? Hmm... perhaps I'll have to run some tests tonight. Any advantage to either of them?
