anyone? been playing for 4 years now. awesome game. not exactly for the faint of heart though. i figured i might as well ask seeing as how im rather bored and im on a post rampage o.o

Played it for a while. Played it before WoW, then as a filler between WoW and WAR. Amazing game for sure, but it didn't quite fill what I exactly wanted.
As far as not for the faint of heart...that is for sure. Skills train in real time (even when logged off), but it takes vast amount of time to get them trained, especially when you get up into the higher ranks (like 30 days of training time ; ; ). Also, you have to be willing to lose shit in the game. There are no levels or anything of that sort, everything is based off of the skills you have trained. But that means the entire world revolves around the economy, and when you die...you lose most of everything, especially if they "pod" you (when your ship is destroyed you get launched in a safety pod, but players can still kill you in it, though they will get negative things).
tl;dr version: This game takes a lot of fucking time and patience! But is extremely rewarding.
