so, im in the process of teaching FoW runs to anyone that's interested. we'll be working on it nm at first to get used to the run then proceeding from there to hm runs with consets. want to try your luck at a q9 obsidian edge from the fow end chest? reply here. characters needed: dervishes, necro (usually hero necro tbh) 2 hb monks, and other stuff i cant think about atm cuz its 8am and i dont function at this time. ITS NOT A URSAN OR OTHER TYPE OF THAT RUN!! regular builds only. im broke, and this is a good way to make money and have an organized even go down. i'll post builds tonight if i get the chance. -khain

!!!UPDATED!!!NOTE: the GWEN skills on these bars are just bonuses. If theres something else you prefer to use, by all means feel free. They dont make or break the build except in terms of damage output. D/Pa- OgmjYmpMbSvX9gWYwbzkykNXMXA This is the lead tank. He/She aggroes first to get a good clump for the ranger and the other dervishes. Depending on the group being aggroed however, they will be going in with the other dervs. You need a longbow! D/Me- OgWjMYpM7SvX9gJBIBzkykNXMXA This is the wolf slayer/ quest grabber. The person playing this role needs to be familiar with how to do the solo portions of FoW and be good at pulling for wolves. Also needs a longbow. D/El- OgajkwpKLSvX9gxCqOzkykNXMXA Just another damage dealer. Keep wards up when aggroing heavy groups. Aura of stability is only neccessary against Abyssals and Hydras in the Burning Forest. R/Rt- OggkYNXb2KiEGziRxxd5MJtxmxFD Massive damage dealer. There is lots of clumping in FoW. Wait until dervs have aggro, and splinter wep the mobs. Dont worry about splintering anyone but yourself. The pet is to help make the well for the necro as it will usually die quick. Just rez it but dont bother healing it. This player is also responsible for helping to rez as he/she will have a hard rez. That way the monks dont need to waste healing time rezzing.N/Rt- OAhDQspHOvhtQnwSYIsDV1LG Usually a Hero cuz its a boring role. Is there for party support. The preferred person for bringing this hero is the ranger or GDW support character. Mo/El- OwYT043AZKuajoBUiIHEZ4jANCA Rez chant monk. Only rez if you have the time to and the other monk can carry the healing load. The ranger and support character will also have rezzes so it shouldnt be that big a deal. Mo/El- OwYT043AZKuajY6TiIHEZ4jQmAA Rebirth monk. You will save us if we screw it up that bad. Be on the edge of running away at all times so you can RB someone. So thats the team build. The missing slot is for a party support character, preferably with a high Deldrimor Rank for casting Great Dwarf Weapon on the Dervs and Ranger. Also will bring another rez. AoE is discouraged as it will break the mobs, but instant damage skills will work. A rit can play this role well. If there are any questions, post them here and i'll check when i can. I myself will most likely be the D/Me but can monk as well. Lets get some weekly money making guild/alliance action going P.S. Sorry about only putting up template codes. My time is limited and I couldnt put in all the skills, descriptions, equipment, etc etc. If someone else has the time to feel free . I'll post equipment and attrib points later on. -khain

I'd be interested. I could fill any of those roles, though my dervish won't have any worthwhile EotN ranks. When did you want to give this a try?

I can bring any of those characters. My ele could fill the support role (max Deldrimor... E/N Ether Orders or something awesome) I also have experience with a few of the FoW solo runs (extensive Beach/Cave and a bit of Forest) for that one Derv. But I can bring anything

the ponies would be awesome to help us sneak by >.> hehe triia, im pulling a 24 hour shift tonight so no gaming for me but we can try tomorrow. if anything that gives people time to decide wat they want to run and get their characters ready with the bars needed etc. and dont worry about norn ranks. you can substitute other stuff in there. if you are at least r5 though, it might help enough ^^ we can also do norn point farms or book runs if anyone wants to get a higher norn rank in order to run the norn skills.

I'd be interested but would only be able to run the ranger or the monk.

It looks like I may be only able to run one of the dervishes or whatever goes in that 8th spot. Can the D/E be run as an E/D instead, with a different elite? I have a pretty good E/D scythe build I could use...

the thing about the dervish tanks is avatar of dwayna. the ability to steadily remove hexes is the key. otherwise, SS will rip us up, especially in hard mode the team build is pretty fexible in other areas though. i'll see wat i can come up with for you kaiser and jupiter that's perfectly fine. ranger and monky are pretty important so im glad those are covered -khain

don't get me wrong...my dervish has most of the skills to play the D/E build here. It's just that she is only a level 2 Norn, where my ele is level 10. Plus she doesn't have either of those PvE skills. I figured that the AoD was going to be a problem; I was just sort of hoping the monks could keep the SS off of only 1 character.

aah ok gotcha. just keep in mind the norn skills are just bonus damage. they're not neccesary. i dont even have dodge this on my dervish lol. but i dont really see a problem. we can try it of course and see how it works. armor class might be a problem in hm though o.o wont know till we try though
