That's right... Rotscale.
I'm almost done with Canthan Vanquisher, at which point I'll start working on...
TYRIAN! *Woman screams*
Which I realized last night, to my horror... includes killing Rotscale. In Hard Mode. Now, this is a long, long, long, long, long, long, long way off... (I still have such wonderful places as Dragon's Gullet to take care of, first... but I wanted to throw the idea out there for after we finish Duncan.
I may be in need of a Grenth's Balance Necro with more than 3k health. Or I may steal a build from the Wiki. Who knows?

Odd... I was just thinking about Rotscale the other day... never killed it. I'd like to, though. Hard mode is scary but I'll do my part for the Republic.

Grenth's Balance necro?
I recall just dazing him (Broad Head Arrow)---and everything else being a cinch.

Hell, I think Khunlin knows I'll gladly volunteer for this. ;D Now that I have HM, I'll definitely wanna kill this at some point too for Vanquisher. In fact, even without the Vanq credit... it's killing a giant undead dragon surrounded by undead minions and all kinds of things. In Hard Mode. How is that NOT awesome?
Of course, I'd be limited to only Prophecies skills, but I think Lia can vouch for me that I'm... decent... with my build. I mean, considering what I have. Then again, you'd probably have a build in mind. Anyway you put it, I'm up for it.

If I get my way, and we all know how much whining would be involved if I didn't, I'll have my ranger...and my DAZING MACHINE build. ;D
EDIT: And Khunlin, this needs to be in the Official thread...its been entirely too dormant lately!

Well, I was trying not to overwrite (to use the nerdy term) Slavers' Exile, at the moment. When we get that done, I'll throw this over there.
Sounds like we'll have enough people for a "normal" build, though. From my guess-ery we'll have at least three human eles, one ranger, one monk, and one whateverTriiabrings. Add in Koss for helping with the dazing, and another monk (just for show, since Kiwi could of course handle it alone!) and call it a day?

I can bring whatever is needed, but I expect that'll be my necro or monk, either of which I'd be happy to use. My ranger and warrior are also available (ele too, but it seems she wouldn't be needed )

<_< Once again you forget teh mesmer.
Seems I'll have to own Rotscale with backfire and diversion and the like.
Spell rape 'em.

Hmmm... on that note, for Slaver's Exile - how hard was Duncan? He's the only one I have left on my ele, if I recall correctly, and I'd kinda' like to get that done.

A Necro or Monk would probably be best, Triia, depending on what we make the rest of the team out of.
I don't think a Mesmer would be too useful when Rotscale is already being dazed, but if you want to do this on your Mesmer, we can switch up the builds a bit, perhaps.

I thought a Glyph of Renewal interrupt mesmer might help (multiple power spikes, ne?) and Aneurysm for later in the game---because I'm sure he drains his super energy supply quite fast with spammage/failed spell castings of FoC.
That or add frustration on a Signet of Illusions mesmer with power spike and some other nasty surprises.
Would go greatly faster. >_>
But I don't really care what I do it on.
Haven't done him yet. Last one we have.

I <3 frustration. I make my hero mesmers run it with my ranger interrupt/daze builds. Oh if only I could see those numbers too! Can we plan this for the other night this weekend? And get the build nailed down...this will be vanquishing on top of rotscale, yes? Well, that doesn't quite sound right but you know what I mean.

BWAHAHAHAHHA! Fear my mighty officer powers! Since Ursans seem so disturbingly more powerful than my Searing Flames'er when I don't need the Spirit Bond for saving dumb heroes... I think we could make room for an Ursan or two... (rank snobbing vs. Jupiter, of course!) We will need a means of shutting him down, though, and it seems to me that Daze will be the most effective. So I vote for bringing a Daze Ranger... and Frustration Mes could compliment that nicely. Kaiser and Lia on Nukers or Ursans makes five... Kiwi on Monk is six, and Triia on a Something is... SEVEN?! Seven people for a PvE mission?! I don't think that has happened since Factions Oh, and Kiwi wins the First Avatar Ever to Make Me Actually LOL award.

Well, since my new-found interest in vanquishing, I'd prefer to bring my ranger, most likely as Ursan (r7!) and packing interrupts and/or daze for the downtime. I will take my monk or necro (or whatever) if needed but be aware that there will come a time in the future where I'll drag you all out, kicking and screaming, to do this again.
