Friday 9pm est(earlier if possible) bring your pve characters for a whirlwind tour of ToPK. I think we are leaning toward Tombs of the Primeval Kings (its free and doesn't require favor) but if perchance we have more than 8 interested the Deep might be feasible. Wouldn't that be poetic if we end up there and his axe drops now that Mura just bought one? Position | Person | Potential | Pet | Ranger 1 | Jupiter | | Tsuki - Stalker | Ranger 2 | Kaiser | Triia | Mr Peepers - Crane | Ranger 3 | Khunlin | | Fluffles - Stalker | Ranger 4 | | Delor | | Ranger 5 | Ducky | | | Orders Necro?/Paragon? | General Morgahn? | Kaiser, Triia | | MM? | Olias/MoW? | Kaiser, Triia | | Healer | Triia? | Khunlin? , Triia | |
Here is the build on guildwiki. Yay for massive edits and alliteration.

I have a Ranger, Mesmer, Ele, Monk, Warrior... possibly a Necro. I'm leaning towards B/P, just because it's so tried-and-true... and I want to see the end! Just don't let me monk, this time... I can't handle the guilt

As previously mentioned, I won't be able to attend, sadly. I'll have engagements for the next two weekends. Even if I didn't, a winter mix is going to be pounding down on my part of GA tomorrow....so I don't know if I'll even have power on Friday because of that.
...as for the axe bit. <_< One can always sell it.

OK, so it'll be Khunlin, Fluffles, Tsuki and I vs. all the baddies in the Tombs. RAWR!
Pet party in ToPK! Who's in? BYOB (bring your own Barrage) I wonder if we've got a nice variety of pets in the guild now?

Put Delor and Walker Power Ranger on backup. Walker will unleash his vampiric Barrages whilst his trusty dune lizard Megatron nips their ankles.

If we have too many people that want to play rangers (i.e. more than 5) we can run one of the modded builds from wiki. For instance, we could eschew the Orders for a 6th ranger, and we all take elemental bows. We can use heroes for the MM and Monk if necessary as well. I don't think a Hero would be as good in one of the ranger slots. I also think that we could do the monkless build with all healing coming from Predatory Season, but it would require a lot more coordination.

Or, if we're feeling adventurous, we could bring along a Paragon Hero... all the Rangers pack "Go for the Eyes!", and the Para spams echoes like Blazing Finale and Finale of Restoration. He could also bring "They're on Fire!" to capitalize on the... fire. ;D If he's a Motivation, we could probably use him for a monkless build. I'd trust a Hero Paragon more than I'd trust a Hero Monk... I don't think Dunkoro has the e-management skill to pull that particular job off.

I'll monk if the spot isn't filled (seriously, I really don't mind). I'll... well, I'll do pretty much any of the builds. All three girls are feeling pretty restless. Oh... edited... ok. Monk for me!

Sorry Triia you beat my explanation. I was rearranging just so we had some names down. I will consider this the penciled in version and whatever changes anyone wants to make (we'd prefer more people and not heroes!) post 'em! I was thinking I should take a turn at monking, which is still possible, but I'm not sure I've got a good selection of healing elites, runes etc. They say (I can't remember) there's a lot of enchantment hate so protection is not the way to go. Need to decide on Orders, non-ele strings, winnowing vs. paragon, ele strings? and no winnowing? We'll work out the spirits amongst the early-comers.

I would like to point out that I am in fact a reserve so anyone who would like to take my ranger spot from me is welcome to. I will try to be there but I forgot about my oil change back in the college town so I need to go back which means ladyfriend will most likely pull rank.

Here's the Spirits that we should bring: Favorable Winds - increased speed and damage from the barrage Winnowing - Increased damage from physical damage*
*Should only be used without elemental bowstrings. If we choose to go without the Orders Necro, we will be taking elemental bows, so this one can get changed out.
Optional: Edge of Extinction - damage others every time something dies; someone would have to up their beast mastery a bit to make it worthwhile Predatory Season - up to 30 healing with every barrage, plus helps the minions and pets; it does make the monk a little less useful. Winter - will keep some of the pain from the terrorwebs off of us; they won't be able to trigger Mark of Rodgort
Vampiric bows can also be used for increased healing with each shot, as well as increased damage. A full vampiric barrage under predatory season and OotV would yield 162 health for each ranger. With all the spirits up, you are looking at +49 damage on each arrow.
