Saturday, June 17: HA (Now with more Sunday-ness!)

I think the general consensus is that we're going to try the Feast of Corruption build that was so successful for Bryce, Monkey, and Kaiser on Thursday.

Bryce, who actually knows what he's talking about, is going to elaborate in the next post. Here's what he said in the last thread:

We were in a Feast of Corruption spike build. It's a tough build to run but it's fairly powerful when used correctly. The big advantages of this spike is that it's a very high damage AoE spike, it has some pressure elements with all the random hex spamming going on, and it has holding elements so once you take an altar it's all about the defense (with a good offense, of course!).

You have 6 Necro/Monk spikers (split into 4 healing and 2 protection), 1 Ranger spirit spammer, and 1 Ritualist spirit spammer.

The biggest problems you'd encounter with this build itself is that the only realistic energy management is the spirit spams, and if they get shut down you'll run out of energy fairly quickly, and there are no primary monks so the Necros MUST be on the ball with healing/protting.

With that said, here's a rough outline of the roster. Feel free to sign up after you've read Bryce's description.

That does involve running through Snake Dance... but if we do it as a group, it shouldn't be that bad.

According to the spreadsheet, there is another place to get FoC. Apparently the same boss shows up now and again in Grenths Footprint. I do not know where he is in there, since he could be in a number of places, but it may be easier and/or quicker to get him there than to try to do the entire run through Snake Dance.

I have work supposedly from about now until 3 hours from now. I'll see if they make me stay, but if they do I can buy FoC with faction. Depending on when you guys planned on starting I think I can make it. <--Poorly worded sentence

I'm no longer even sure if I can make it at a reasonable hour tonight. I'm trying to build up enough faction right now to buy Feast of Corruption in case I can show up later tonight. Good luck if I can't make it.

I'm all for green farming... But I prefer the cool kind! Where are all of the Sliver Armor numbers and the tearing bosses apart in seconds?! GRAWLS SUCK!

I might be able to come along and cap FoC, but if not I can probably take one of the other positions.

Anyway, I would love to do this again, and more often. Getting a build and then running it seems pretty easy to me. By the end I was forgetting heal party half the time though

Uhh, I'm being lazy and won't finish up the post right now, as I'm going to go on and try to get the complete build.

Jupiter and I may be on tonight, but only for a short while. I don't know if we will be on long enough to participate if we are doing this again.
