Well I assume many of us have Diablo II + LoD, so why not return to the addiction?

I actually just walked by the collection the other day and seriously pondered buying it again (my other discs got completely screwed up and I just tossed them, so no more CD keys for those), but I figured since Nightfall was about to be released, I didn't need another game to fill my time. So, I agree with Khunlin  . |

Oh that is tempting. I miss my sorceress and her lightning storm...thunderstorm...gah! I can't even remember the name of the spell. Apparently I don't miss it THAT much!

Arg, damn you for tempting! Thankfully, after NF + FFXII, I will have no money nor time to play, so YOU need to come back fo GW, for NF, f00. But I do miss being a Sorceress....lightning + teleportation = owning all, even amazons. NO! EVIL MONKEY! GO BACK IN THE CLOSET WITH YER D2!

Well if we all wanted the REAL D2 experience, we have to get on dial-up again. The screeching noises, the random dropping, the being dead for 2 minutes before you even see there's a guy there. Great times that Diablo II.
P.S. Tempting us away is bad! It's hard enough to remain faithful to your game in these trying times. I myself have a wandering hard drive from time to time. I've been known to fool around with EQII and WoW. But they meant nothing to me! It was just to get that little spice that Guild Wars is too shy to give me.

It seems that Hell has finally frozen over... and there may be... a Diablo III? Blizzard's doing its crazy teaser-splash page thing, but obsessed nerds around the world have come to the conclusion that the names of the progressive images displayed on Blizzard's page refer to areas in Act 5 of Diablo II... hinting that the upcoming announcement is Diablo III... Interesting... |

Yeah, that's it. ;D EDIT: I see now... a bit more digging reveals the style sheet has class names like tundra, cavern, icefield, and icy... very interesting. Unfortunately, it would appear the internet has beaten me to these findings.  Stupid internet and its collective brainpower. Still, this makes it a bit more interesting... some of the pictures included in other classes look like junk though, but I guess others see something when they're put together.

I just reinstalled D2. I literally laughed out loud when I changed the resolution... first from 640x480 to 800x600, and then... oh, wait, no; 800x600 was the highest it would go. XD
I remember when I struggled to play that in 640x480, totally low-spec, and when downloading a patch took hours and I'd get really excited watching the damn health bubble go up a little bit. Oh man, this game brings back memories.
Time to play with Jack_BauerCTU, professional Sorceress.

Yes, the day I first got a nForce 420 IGP, D2 was the first thing I ran...at 800x600! 'Twas a glorious day.
