Alright, i'm going to spew out some facts here, our current ventrilo server fits 8 people. That's a cap on the free version, there's no way to change it. How many people in an alliance battle? 12.
We've got a problem
One option that has been discussed is purchasing a server.
I'm volunteering to cover the costs of such, it really isn't a large amount. I've got a job and no living expenses, I would have absolutely no trouble paying for it. However, when discussing this option a few people have said they would like to contribute, which is very kind of them. So i'm thinking the situation could be, me paying for most of it, and anyone who wants to contribute can, via paypal.
I want to stress something here
Nobody is obligated in any way, shape, or form to contribute.[/b][/i] It is completely optional and there is no reason to feel guilty if you don't.
I've looked around at a few hosting companies and I have a few preferences, but I would like all your input too. You can find a list of official companies here.
Keep in mind, the higher the cost is usually the higher quality of both the company and voice. I also know that there are cheaper deals at non-official places, but I'd rather feel safe with an official one.
Another thing, vent lag will waaaay better, along with the voice quality.
