I think a bit more organization for the last half of the dungeon would be useful. Given Duncan's Monster skill (always active) acts like Holy Wrath/Retribution except it deals 75%-200% dealt to him back to the target always.
There's apparently a corner in which Duncan can't hit you but he still casts or such---
I've heard a mantra of recovery mesmer with certain spells helps there, or a SV necro work well there~
More info is on his Wiki page.
Do we want to go specific---or fluke it yet?

I should very much like some organization, and to exploit one of those builds for killing Duncan. I'm thinking something along the lines of... 1 MM (Jagged/Death Nova bomby type) 2 Nukers (Kaiser and Mura? Possibly with Swap... and... got Pain Inverter? ) 1 SV Necro with Signet of Sorrow... MM is sent in to go stand next to Duncan and die, fueling SoS. 1 MoR Mesmer with the damagey stuff 1 Triia! But with Frozen Soil this time 2 Monks

I was thinking something similar. Wondered if Verata's Aura would be wise too with the enemy MMs.
I have Pain Inverter; I'm not an E/A yet.

I have E/A, but not swap. Unfortunately, no Pain Inverter, and if I remember correctly, that quest series takes forever.

The PI quest-line should take under an hour if you look at wiki to tell you where they appear (or the general directions).
Especially if you have all the locations already.

Yay! Now I have PI. I can get swap any time.
