So...who's going to be previewing this weekend and with what character first? Shall we make plans to group up? Will we have any extra time to GvG?
I'm taking at least 1/2 day on Friday so I should be around all weekend plus some. I intend to explore with my ranger probably Friday during the day when there aren't many people around and then Friday evening grab my ele or monk.
Currently, I'm ok with taking out some time to GvG but it would have to be efficient! No waiting when we could be exploring, you know?
Do they mention our progress, along with the other things I know of (exp, items etc), will be saved from this weekend or not?

I have no idea who I'll be taking first. Probably my ranger for general exploration but I don't mind bringing my monk for group activities. And from the official site:

I'd kind of like to see how the weekend starts off. I'm not sure how much they'll offer us and I don't necessarily want to get through it all anyway. Maybe we could tentatively devote Friday to PvE Grand Adventures and plan on a GvG or two on Saturday if we feel like it, perhaps? Let me guess... you have a J somewhere in that personality profile, don't you Jupiter? |

I'll be missing the whole preview weekend and any GvG's, me and Tiana are going camping with a bunch of her friends. Best of luck though!

Well, it doesn't technically start until 3 AM EST---so Friday is kind of clear for GVG.

That's 3am Friday morning. So, I would consider Thursday night for some GvG, were we to have enough people, but personally, I'm planning on spending my free time on Friday basking in the beauty of an un-Seared Ascalon.

That's too early for PVE exploration though. So you can pencil in GVG for 3 AM.

*looks up personality profile frantically to recall what J's mean* No Malae and no other responses means pretty much a no unless we end up with a slew of people on and SPONTANEOUSLY all decide we want to deal some 00bs. I may or may not be around much this weekend. Stupid computer up and died on me. Why does this always happen just before these big weekend events? The last time it died was right before the PVE preview for Factions last year. Huge instabilities led me to change out a couple of components just before the Nightfall preview as well. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something...
Anyway, my laptop can run GW, but in reduced prettiness. This just means that I will be blown away when GWEN finally comes out. The problem is, I don't trust the laptop to be coherent in PvP (laaaag), so I don't know if I will be up for any of that this weekend. Hopefully the new parts will arrive soon.

I vote for maximum explorage. Yes I think I'm inventing words. I would like to use my Ele....or my Necro. I figure I can monk through it easily enough later but if we need a monk I'll take one for the team.
I'd really like to check this out with as many of you as I can. Can we pick a block of time on Saturday and Sunday when we'll all gather up and head out as a group? I'd like us to be slightly organized. I can do any time in the afternoon or evening on sat and sunday. I propose we meet up in the guild hall at 8 pm (eastern) on sat and sunday for epic adventures.
I agree we should consider a new guild hall. =)
