Triia mentioned an alliance taking Cavalon and opening up the elite mission there for the GW community. Well.. they did it! The Crusaders took Cavalon and have been ferrying people to the elite mission staging zone for free! I hopped on, hoping to get a glance. It's a 12 person mission. Once a TC member brings you to the staging area.. we (as in 12 members of the HLR) could actually do this elite mission! From all reports. It's freaking HARD. Sounds like a challenge for the HLR, eh? Get your butts to Cavalon! Edit: Every enemy is level 28. Deep Sea keys are 1.5k a piece!

Or you could trade in Luxon Totems (I think it's 5). The problem is, how long will the Crusaders hold the damn place? Everyone in Cavalon are saying they won't be holding it for much longer, and frankly those rumours sound pretty truthful.
Also, Cavalon is ages away from Nahpui Quarter...you would have to speed run about 4 missions (and quests) to get there.

Sorry for double posting, but I thought it deserved a post of it's own (and it bumps the thread, huzzah!). Today I went into the Deep and returned to the surface with nightmares and possibly the shiniest weapons crafted by Anet. I must say this first...this mission is hard, and the end is d**n near impossible without the proper build (think a room with constant -8 Health degenration and a boss who can heal himself for 1000hp). It's very much like UW (or FoW?), where the majority of loot will come from chests (each key will set you back 1.5k). I was lucky to have a team that regularly farms this mission, so it could be much harder. [SPOILERS]First off, this mission has 12 players that are seperated when you get in (you have to take different teleports) who then have to fight through the monsters in that room to regroup with the rest. Then, it turns into the usual monster killing that is in the vein of Dragon's Lair. Each "room" (there are no teleports between each one) has a different condition which only ends when you kill the boss (these guys aren't too much of a pain). I'm not sure, but I think there is a boss for each class. After getting through all the rooms (took us 2 hours) it leads into the last boss. Defeating this guy nets the group 3 green warrior weapons (they always drop) for three lucky people. [END OF SPOILERS]If that sounds like pointless rambling...it's because I just played for 2 1/2 hours (half an hour for the last boss) in the most intense battles I have ever played in. If we are to attempt this, a lot of planning will have to go into it. Oh, and for those who like shinyness... Zodiac Staff Zodiac ShieldWayward Wand 15^50 Ceremonial Daggers (I got 2 extra pairs, with different stats...not 15^50 though)
