Well, I told Triia I'd send her a pic of the piano-black finish on my speakers... I ended up botching a lot of stuff, but I can't afford to fix it! So here's what I've got:
Full length... front panel didn't come out nearly as smooth as I'd hoped, and I don't really like the look of them in general, but they're seriously a triumph of American engineering (that faceplate took forever)... curved walls etc...
Gloss black sides... pic is a bit blurry, and the finish is not perfectly smooth, but hey! I did it with spray-paint
