This is my prideful moment of first ecto drop. The only other decent drop was a Barbed Storm Bow of Warding. Req. 11, max, dmg +19% while health is below 50%, lengthens bleeding 33%, and armor +7 vs elemental. Not really planning to go at much more though---given the drop exchange in NM. Half the runs don't even pay for themselves.

600 Famine Smite Monk Comment -Figured I'd comment since I was considering running this as an alternate because I'd think runs would be far more managable this way---I can't see NM Underworld runs really paying off for themselves (especially when I've had glitches with coldfires not patrolling or like two dying nightmares popping up after I aggro the grasping darknesses (had them down by the ghosts standing side to side) only to run up and rip my enchants). www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_600_Famine%5CSmite_FarmWas looking at this and wondering if an offhand or shield was preferred. I'm sure I can farm Ky's chalice if that's the case. Probably would use Norn armor for the health bonus. I believe Lia mentioned Khunlin so I figured I'd ask about whether to use the foci or shield (using Rajazan's as the +5/20%). Figured I'd have enough to do the build-up given my monk just earned about 15k from a round of Frostmaw's (two rubies from hidden treasure).

You want as low an AL as possible, so go with the focus. If you're in Normal Mode (it's actually usually faster in Hard Mode, if the monsters don't bring new enchant removal skills,) take your armour off.
