I'm just curious if anyone has or knows of someone who has a Zodiac shield and/or a mesmer staff - I'm trying to get the latter for a friend's birthday present in a couple weeks, and another friend wants to buy the former. I'd appreciate it if anyone especially hears word of a mesmer staff with good mods, preferably a domination or illusion staff, and could let me know about it.

Zodiac Shields can only be gotten in the Deep or Urgoz's Warren. Nasty places, in short.
A decent one would cost you a pretty penny.
As for a mesmer staff---there are many good green mesmer staves. The Mindclouder is the best for illusion given the costly degen spells.
Domination has a number of equal value ones. Depends on what skin you really like.

Yup, we know - I was gonna' go do some farming later tonight so that I could pay for it (my friend and I are splitting the cost). And we do realize that there are greens, but we wanted to get him something that's a little more... unique. =P

I see. Well, the skins don't vary that much from greens. Energy cost is primary the concern of the mesmer class since they have fast casting.
Maybe you could mod a lotus staff?

If you want a mesmer staff, I have a gold Zodiac domination staff (req 8). The mods aren't perfect, but it's pretty close. Been sitting here for a bit along with other unwanted goodies...
