I think that if we tried to pull together 6-7 people (guests and heroes to fill in) for just 1-2 GvGs on weeknights, we'd face more of the casual guilds closer to our rank. We could probably pull together pretty quickly, so we'd only need everyone to be on for 30mins-1hr at the minimum.
I'm on summer break and can GvG pretty much any time. How are your schedules?

As long as we can get done by about 10-10:30 eastern, I'm good. Except for Tuesdays, though that might be clearing up in the second half of this month. I think this is the best way to get more wins under our belts, so let's give it a try.

I really don't know. I have three days of clinical a week for the next five weeks so even if I could join in, on those nights I'd have to be off pretty early.
I don't really get the weeknights=lower ranked guilds thing. You'd think the hard-core folks would be playing even during the week and the slackers (like us? D: ) would be around more on the weekends.

Well, Triia, I won't pretend to understand it myself... but when I've guested with [SyN] (mostly on weekdays), they always seem to get quick matchups vs. r1k-2k guilds. Maybe it's that... who GvGs on Friday nights? The hardcore gamers  For those of you with unpredictable schedules, if you could post in this thread when you know that you'll have a night off, we might be able to pick times on a day-by-day basis, which is better than nothing... week-by-week is definitely best, though  |

I'm in the same boat as triia-work's been killing me lately, and it's rare that I get an early day off. sure would like to play similarly ranked guilds though  if a night is suggested I'll be sure to chime in with my availability. would we have better luck if we tried doing a weekend-day gvg outing? or would we face the same types of match-ups as this past weekend? |

Based on a few hours of guesting for David's new guild, there was a noticeable trend of good matches and really quick matchups early in the night, moving on to waiting 10 mins to fight a r70 guild by about 11:30 GMT-7 (It's a Monday)... (Related, fun fact! Those of you with quick reflexes/time machines can see me TOTALLY get my ass handed to me by a Ranger on split. I was a WoH. At least he was r70  ) I take this as proof that the casual guilds GvG weekday evenings, while the hardcore kids are the ones GvG'ing late at night and on weekends! There are no flaws in my scientific procedure for determining this, of course! How this relates to Trip's weekend-afternoon GvG idea, I don't know. Maybe none of us will know until we try? |

OK, lets get some input!
As far as weekday GvGs go, I'm available tonight (Thurs), Monday and Tuesday.
My weekly schedule varies but for the next few weeks it should be just M, T, TH.
And lest anyone be confused, I intend to be around for GvG this weekend (if you haven't logged in lately it's GvG bonus weekend).
What about the rest of you? We need specifics!

I'm available just about anytime... except tonight... maybe. There might be something going on tonight. There might be two things going on tonight... if you tried coordinating with these guys, you'd know how confusing it is |

It is kind of chaotic, but at the moment it sounds like one or both of those things will be taking place after HLR would have finished, anyway. But yeah, if we can get an idea of availability for next week, we might be able to pick out a day! Yell out, ye who have jobs and social consciences!
