Friday, October 19th: GvG!

I'm too lazy and sleepy and lazy and boring and lazy and unmotivated and lazy and apathetic and lazy and handsome and lazy to make an actual post, but I gots me a hankerin' for some GvG this Friday, and there is nothing any of you can do about it. Except GvG with me.

By royal decree, we're running the smitey smite thing. I'd make a signup, but work is for people who want to work. And I'm not a people who want ot work. No, I'm not going to correct the typo. That'd take work.

So... new GvG system?!
We pick spots in the GvG build... we roll those characters (preferably before Friday night), and hopefully you guys run out and play with them on the Isle of the Nameless a bit after you roll them, to get the hang of it. Then, on Friday night, we just entertain ourselves until sufficiently many people are around. If there aren't enough people, well, we can just keep doing whatever we're doing.

I think this system will be more useful with the way the guild goes these days.

So, if you want to come, pick a spot and show up as early as humanly possible on Friday. Heck, with this system, if nothing happens on Friday, we can probably cross our fingers and do the same on Saturday.

Oh, and the Tainted is moderately hero-able (she'd require monitoring, but I'm guessing she'd go with the trapper, who would have time for such things), so pick other spots first, please.

If I'm around, trapper. It's the only thing I can play without having to acquire some faction. Only problem is, I'm not sure if I will be around Friday night. This weekend is my fall break, so I'm going home and seeing as many people as possible. If it gets pushed back to Saturday, I definitely will not be able to make it.

Depends on whether Nick's guild is GvGing, and if we have enough for it. If we don't, and it doesn't look like we'll get enough - I'll come. Preferably as a Cripslash.

Well, I can play any role with the exception of the Tainted Mesmer. Beyond that I'm not really picky with roles since I'll likely not be around until its actually---going.

Although that could possibly mean playing GW together, I make no promises. She has been asking to watch a GvG so she has an understanding of what it is... but again, no promises. So, maybe a few rounds if she feels like watching, maybe.

Uh--I take back that I couldn't play the Tainted Mesmer. Forgot all the stuff I unlocked for my Gwen hero on my main.

I'm not really sure what to sign up for.

I guess the safest thing for me would be one of the (non-generalizing) warriors. If there is true desperation, I could possibly attempt running or the prot monk.

Also, yes to the name theme and I just can't imagine how watching your sweetie lead a valiant charge of The Grand Republic wouldn't be romantic in the EXTREME. Powerful, confident men in platemail.... sexy.
