Now that my trousers have been cleansed of their algal corruptions, I can contribute!
We seem to have a couple GvG builds in the works, but none that have been proven yet. Perhaps we should procrastinate wait until they're done. We haven't FoC'ed in far too long...

The Dark Lord Malae hath commanded that there be an Officer's Meeting immediately after the mission. That fool of a took thinks he has a way to reduce Group Flailing Frequency without sacrifing our laidback nature.
There are no secrets, of course - the only backs we talk behind are those of Kaiser and Jupiter, and they'll be at the meeting. Furthermore, I suspect that the outcome of the Great Deliberations will be immediately relayed to everyone in the guild.
Other than that, I wouldn't mind FoCing again tonight - possibly even in GvG! I'll be on around 10 EST.

I'm game for whichever crazy plan y'all (I'm so Southern!) come up with.
As too the flailing...... Has Malae been in other guilds in other games? I have been and I think HLR does just fine. We don't flail very much, it's simple social dynamics. When you try to get any group organized to do something it just takes time. I eagerly await the results of the GD.

I'll continue on in this thread since we already have it, but it was agreed last night that the Guild Events board will now be used for events that are more likely to involve a large number of guild members. General weekend planning, requests for mission assistance, etc. will be posted in the Quest Organization board. This board will be used to organize groups for planned PvP, special events, a specific mission that requires a full guild group (THK, RoF, etc.) and so on.
So, anyway, I was thinking of what I might like to do for my "welcome back" event. Now, I definitely want to do some more PvP this weekend, but I thought something epic might be fun; a Grand Adventure to unexplored lands (for most of us, at least)! I don't know if we would actually have access but would anyone like to try a trip to one of the elite missions, if we can get in?

I'd love to try an elite mission, but I'm not sure if we can get in right now either. If we can, that's where my vote would go.
As a backup plan, I'm always interested in a bit of FoCing. Just out of curiosity, are most people still enjoying FoC, or is it getting old?

FoC has been getting old for a while now, but not to the point I want to eliminate it from our HA arsenal. I just think we have that build down well enough to use it, and we should try another. If we can find one that pwns IWAY and Dual Smite.....

If we need a new HA build I'm highly recommending that balanced build we briefly tried. While I'm not sure I have the 100% complete correct build, I'm fairly close and I'll get the other bits of it as soon as I can.

Has anyone ever seen the SNL skit with Mike Meyers as the hyper kid that wears the helmet? I was seeing Jupiter in his place... dragging the jungle gym around the guild hall, her face smeared with chocolate and cheerios and a crazed look in her eyes. Just substitue Bryce for the jungle gym! Oh, and I'll be happy doing FoC, a balanced build... whatever, as long as it's earning me some fame and we're winning here and there.  |

Keep caffine away from Jupiter until this idea is forgotten  I can just see myself now...Lashed to Jupiter, with her bouncing off the walls behind me, periodically dragging me around as I claw at the ground trying to escape. Since when did I become the whipping boy...er...person of the guild? That's Malae's job! (being one, not whipping one)
Elite mission gets my vote as does earning more fame. I may attempt some more Kurzick-faction-generating-funness prior to the organized event.

Don't go to the elite mission without me!  Well, obviously you could. But that would make me sad! In any case, gathering 12 people and finding a taxi is no easy feat. Not to mention you'd want to be prepared for what's in there! It's a long haul and theres no time to waste testing builds! Next week on that one, pretty please? I'll do all the work! Edit: As for FoC, I think it's still fun and we need to keep on it. There are still things to learn about the build, and HA in general. We haven't taken halls with it, yet! |

I think we should definitely do the elite mission tonight, as punishment for choosing hockey over the Republic. I know hockey is important, but it isn't like you're in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

*GASP* *Stanley! It's STANLEY!! I wasn't determined to necessarily do the elite mission tonight. It might take some preparation and research. 'Course if we DID happen to have 12 and a willing ferry hovering about, a little scouting mission wouldn't hurt.  I'm not sure who would do what, but I would only have access with Zisis and Galen. I should be able to get my monk there fairly quickly, if'n she's needed. |
