Time to choose.
The most vocal members of the Republic seem to be leaning towards the side of the Luxons. Please vote and I'll sign us up with the preferred faction tonight.

Though I can see who is going to win this vote, I assume there will be another vote before or just as Factions comes out?

Kruzicks for many reasons: -Luxons suck since I've yet to see them get within Kruzick territory and Kruzicks were in theirs for over half a day. Is it because it is underpopulated? No, because crap loads of people join Luxons due to the fact Kruzicks remind them of emos. Also people want to be ninja-pirates. -PvE is way too easy on Luxon's side. Groups are spread out and can be easily avoided, plus most of the groups aren't exactly balanced. Monsters on the Kruzick's side are far more challenging since they are huddled around each other and their groups are extremely annoying. -Purple glowing forest > Jade Sea -Only Kruzicks get one of the most bad ass pet, the Black Moa. It has spiked rings around it!

Khunlin's Super Powerful, Well Formed, and All Around Kickass Argument for the Luxons:
1) Luxons rule.
2) Luxons look cooler... I mean... Banditos look sooo much cooler than whatever the hell that is that's growing on the head of the Kurzick in our Hall.
3) The Luxons need the aid of the almighty Republic!
4) Luxons have BIG ASS TURTLES!
5) Those Turtles are so damn big... They count as two arguments.
6) What do the Kurzicks have? Trees? Emos? More Trees? An Emo Tree, perhaps?
7) "Luxons" is easier to spell than "Kurzicks". That could be useful at some point.
And 8... The most important of them all:
Khunlin likes the Luxons! You do want to be cool like ME, don't you?
Well, there you have it, folks. You may now worship/snuggle me.

Sorry but Jade Sea >>> Dark forest that is difficult to see without adjusting my monitor controls. I have a theory that due to popular opinion on several accounts, the weekend has been swayed by the devs. Popular opinion prior to this weekend(strictly from MY READING): Rit's rule, Sin's drool therefore the skills they offered this weekend were not so great on the Rit side and pretty decent on the Sin side. Luxons rule - that can be debated but there was a GWG thread that enforced that thought process. Would they have made the quests imbalanced on purpose?? Possibly. Popular opinion after the weekend..."?" Yes, I tend to make up my own conspiracy theories, but there you have it. I think a more serious vote after the game comes out and things get rebalanced may be in order. With that said, I'd still be ok running around in the Fire Swamp too.

Highly disappointed with the Luxons, you would think there would be an underpopulated side that never wins and an extremely populated side that always win, instead you get some sort of mutated crap. Not only are the Luxons populated, they are also the faction that will continuously lose the war. So how is this possible? Overpopulation of one side.
In order for an alliance war to begin, both sides need a party of 12. The Kruzicks seems to be avoided by a lot of people, which leads to something interesting. A lot of the top guilds joined Kruzicks, including non-american ones. Now I will explain why Luxons will be losers and continue to lose in territory war.
Since the Kruzicks seem very depressing at first sight, I can assure to you that any new players that join GW: F will go to the Luxon side. This will cause a huge overpopulation. Now the Kruzicks are the underdogs. Those who join Kruzicks seems to know what they are doing and are more intelligent. Now comes the fun part. There are more new players on Luxon side than Kruzick side, which means there will be more unskilled players in PvP. Since Alliance Battle is random, you will have a hard time getting a decent group of non-newbies. With this in mind, Luxons will lose their territory quite fast for the first couple of months when everything is still new.
The above can be proven that not once has the Luxon pushed into Kruzick territory! Territory is changed every 3 hours by the amount of wins on each side. Since I've seen the Keys map so many times, I can easily say that the Luxons suck at PvP. Don't even bother telling me that Luxons are good at PvP because they are winning on the Keys map. Once the map shift from Saltspray Beach, it will be bias towards the losing faction, which is Luxon.
Summary: -Luxons are overpopulated with newbies and not everyone will have an opposing party.
-Kruzicks, underpopulated, and it is able to get into a match without having "No opposing party" pop up. Plus the hard PvE areas will train those newbies into better players.
Conclusion: Don't expect access to the end-game areas, since Kruzicks will most likely have it under control for a couple of months.
PS I despise Luxons even more due to the fact that they join the Kruzick's side in alliance battle and leave after a match starts!

Monkey, just fyi, the Kurzicks do the same sh!t in alliance battles. They ALWAYS join the luxon side and leave or spam constantly until a ton of other people leave. From MY experience the Kurzicks are just as immature and un-experienced as the Luxons. Quite honestly, there ISN'T an over-populated side, and I don't think there ever will be. People enjoy different things, some like gothic themes, some like a more... simple theme. Anyway, I think it is necessary for us to choose a faction NOW and join it ASAP so that we aren't left in the dust behind other guilds attempting to control outposts.

Now that the factions weekend is over, we have about a month to debate and decide which Faction we want. There's no rush.

I think you mean "horde" faction not "wh0re.' Well, then again you may actually mean the latter, knowing your personal bent.

monkey, i'd say the kurzicks were much worse about going into the luxon servers and leaving/saccing themselves to death. I had one game where 5 of the 12 members of my party were kurzicks, i know because one said "you guys are gonna hate me but i'm about to leave cause i'm kurzick" and then 4 me too lol's popped up. It ended up me and one other person running around just goofing off vs 12 people who were too d**n serious about the whole thing. they wouldn't even let me 1 vs 1 a guy who wanted to go toe to toe w/ the almighty Delor Mephalon(the FOOL). All in all the whole factions weekend was a bunch of nuts as far as the Alliance Battles go. I dont know which campaign was harder, and I agree with your theory as to the overpopulated side will lose. I only disagree with which side will be overpopulated after the Kurzicks won the pre-release weekend event . My vote goes LUXONS. The one, the pwnly, Delor Mephalon

See, Monkey? Don't you wish YOU were a near-massless particle traveling at the speed of light? It's much cooler than being an Emo Treehugger.
...
Hippies aren't exactly treehuggers... But they're close enough to make me wonder:
Is an Emo-Hippie even possible?
That's going to be bugging me for months... God damnit...
