In a preemtive attempt to avoid excessive flailing, I thought it might not hurt to try a little early organization if we still want to do one of the elite missions. Getting up to 12 HLR members organized into a properly dealage team might be a week-long process anyway. I'd like to know who is interested in going, what classes you'll have available at Cavalon and HzH and what you might be most comfortable with/prefer to play.
I've done a little looking around to see what might be useful.
Monks - Healing seems to be prefered over protection with LOTS of Heal Party.
Ritualist - Ritual Lord-type build
Warriors - Tanks for the Deep, not as useful for Warrens, apparently
Ranger - Trappers in Warren, possibly the Deep too. Have seen EoE mentioned
Elementalists - Nukes FTW! Possibly an E/Mo Heal Party
Necro - SS/Reckless Haste and Battery necro
Mesmer - Interrupts/degen
Assassin - eh... not so much _______________________________________________
As long as I can get through Arborstone and Boreas, I can take my monk. My necro and ritualist are also available. If I go really crazy (and get a ton of help), I could probably get my ranger to the area as well. As far as my preference, we seem to have lots of people who can fill the same roles that I can, so I'll be happy filling in where ever I'm needed.

I'm definitely interested! Though keeping in mind this is a 3(?) hour mission I can't start at midnight. I've got my monk, ranger and ele ready. Like Triia said, with a lot of help I could get my warrior (or Rit) there. I also will fill in where needed because it looks like my favorites (prot, int, air) aren't that successful. I've seen a whole slew of cookie cutter builds for these elite missions and that depresses me. Btw, which one are we going for? I have no preference but kinda feel inclined to do the Deep first since we are a Luxon guild.

Every one of my characters is available for this... That means I can bring a Monk, Elementalist, Warrior, Ritualist, or Assassin. I can't remember if there was much enchantment angryness, but if not Khunlin's dual attunements leave plenty of extra energy to spam Heal Party.
I'm happy to help out with anyone trying to reach Cavalon/HzH with one of their characters... Just give me a shout.
EDIT: I'm also leaning towards the Deep.

I'm with you, Triia. Currently, my ranger, monk, and ele are all available for this. My ranger is currently an assassin, but with a few tweaks here and there and a lot of skill buying, I can make him into a trapper or whatever. My monk is available for healing or smiting...he has no protection runes. My ele is available to do whatever - all 4 elements are possible. Let me know when you take your monk through Arborstone and Boreas - my Necro needs them too. Then I could play him in there too if needed. He can blood spike/battery, SS/reckless, or MM. EDIT 1: Sorry about the edit, Triia, but your word "EXtrodinarily" was really bothering me. EDIT 2: Gah! I can't change it on my own post! Someone make it go away! TriiaEDIT 3: Horrors! I'm sorry about that! I never think to proof-read the titles. There, fixed your title.

Lunos (Rt/Me) is the only character I have at Cavalon/HzH currently, and in all likelihood, that'll still be the case next weekend. So I could play the Ritual Lord spirit spammer.
EDIT: How did I not catch that!? I'm losing... my edge.... *shudder*

I'm definitely interested! Though keeping in mind this is a 3(?) hour mission I can't started at midnight. Well, that's why I'm trying to make sure everyone is ready to jump right in on their appropriate character. ;D Plus, I'd figured we'd do this on a Friday (unless there's hockey, of course ) or Saturday night. I don't want to be lynched by any guild members! D: Yeah, same here. That's why I'd like to keep some flexibility with our build. I'm not too concerned. After all, look how well we did on our first FoW run with a thrown-together group!

Unless I magically get whisked towards the mission areas, none of my characters are anywhere close

Get moving Bryce! My necro, monk, and warrior are all available for this. As for builds, i'm not too concerned about specifics, as long as we have enough healing, and we are prepared for the nasty effects of each room. -8 degen on the entire team is not something I want to be unprepared for. Also, it's basically been decided that we're doing The Deep. Or did some of you not see the poll I posted? Edit: Friday seems to be the best day, i'll skip hockey if it means we're starting at a reasonable hour. 9 Eastern sounds good. But if we end up starting at 10:30, which we could do on Saturday, and I miss hockey for no reason. Well, lets just say I will be none too pleased.

Hmm, later (once my head stops swelling) I'll try and upload the build I used on The Deep. It had one ritualist, but I'm sure we can make adjustments to suit what we have. Oh...and be prepared for 4 hours of mind grueling punishment if you want those Warrior greens.

I R want greens! I will just go ahead and list all my characters and what they are capable of doing right here so that it is easier to fit the whole thing together.
[glow=green,2,300]Delor[/glow]- anything all necro-like [glow=yellow,2,300]Alariel[/glow]-can tank, and does alright with lots of aggro, not so good without all the angry though [glow=purple,2,300]Jasmine[/glow]- is an assassin, not going [glow=red,2,300]Dreak[/glow]- earth ele, heal party [glow=green,2,300]Walker[/glow]- Barrage, Trap, and should be able to do pet stuff by then
I think I was signed up to SS, but I just thought this might be a good idea to post.

I don't think I can make it before 11 EST on Friday. Saturday would be much better for me.

Ok, well, I guess I really misinterpreted the changes in the nature of the Quest Organization and Guild Events boards. Anyway...
So far the tentative roster for tonight seems to be (I'm not sure how accurate this info is):
Triia: Monk, Necro, Ritualist Jupiter: Monk, Ranger, Ele, maybe Warrior Kaiser: Ranger, Monk, Ele, Necro Khunlin: Monk, Ele, Warrior, Ritualist Malae: Monk, Necro, Warrior Delor: Necro, Warrior, Ele Syb: Ritualist, Ranger (?), Ele (?) Monkey: Necro Ducky: ? Norm: Monk, Ranger
I know Norm is 50/50 on whether or not he makes it. If there is someone who is coming/wants to come or a character that I missed, let me know.
From what I've seen, it looks like we'll want something along the lines of:
3 Monks Restoration/Ritual Lord Ritualist SS Necro and Battery Necro (or some sort of combination) A mix of Tanks, Nukers and Trappers (supposedly tanks are best for the Deep)
After talking to a few people, I have:
Triia: Monk Jupiter: Monk or Trapper Kaiser: ? Khunlin: Ele Malae: ? (probably Warrior) Delor: Necro Syb: ? Monkey: Necro Ducky: ? Norm: ?
Please tell me what you want to play (even if it's first choice, second choice, etc.). I don't want to assign classes, but I also don't want to be standing around for an hour tonight while everyone congenially says that they'll be happy playing whatever.
EDIT: Thanks for the note about skipping Sunjiang, Khunlin. I forgot to mention that.

If I'm needed to Monk that's fine with me (or I'll trap). Looks like we are low on Warriors and mine is not there. And by my count if everyone shows up on time we've only got 10? Speaking of which what time are we aiming for? And we are dependent on finding a ferry, yes?

Two quick notes: -We have found it's possible to skip Sunjiang District. If anyone has a character that they want to bring that has beaten Boreas Seabed, I can run you from there to Cavalon. -If you know what you are playing, try to get a ferry at some point in the day on that character. This will "unlock" the elite mission on that character. I have parked Arnen in the elite mission, so all we'd have to do, if everyone has it unlocked, is I'd click "Travel to Guild Hall", pick you guys up, and travel back. That way we don't have to worry about catching a ferry. This only works if EVERY character in the party has unlocked the elite mission.
