As some of you know, I scurried away to HA on this fateful night to see babysit some Monday night PUGs as an Ub3rM0nk. America didn't win Favor at all that night, surprising, considering the calibre of the American PUG as revealed by my escapades. The first team was great, once we figured out what was holding us down:  Having put down his guitar, our Ele pushed us to glorious victory against a vicious henchway team! Unfortunately, that group disbanded... but my hopes were rekindled upon seeing what I had on my side this time around  But we all know that great builds are nothing without proper execution... which is why I am glad we had a brilliant strategist leading our team  Upon smiting the Zaishen, our Team Leader was had the wisdom to motivate his team by informing us of our excellence  And he was ever the optimist!  However, we were unfortunately slain... but we tried again! And, as always, Our Leader had a few words of wisdom  He knew that, above all, it was lack of focus... not our builds... that was killing us. And in times of need, others would contribute strategic tidbits to assure success  Yes! A line! 3 Warriors wide! That way they can't get to the monks! But those dastardly IWAYs smote us despite our tactical advantage. Although, I must admit, it was the wierdest "IWAY" I ever saw  Despite bearing no similarities to conventional IWAY, this dastardly, overpowered new one thwarted our efforts throughout the night!  But our leader developed strategy after strategy to thwart these new devils  And when that one didn't work, he came up with an even better one!  However, despite our best efforts, we were nonetheless defeated all night... although in hindsight I have a sneaking suspicion it could've had something to do with the Assassin's Shadow Form making his health bar do this:  RANDOMLY every 60 seconds or so, scaring the life out of the poor Monks. So, wearied through such expenditure of effort... I decided to call it a night. Perhaps I was a bit cruel, but that's what Monks are for, eh?   I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the calibre of the average American PUG... I don't know if I could bear to return to guild PvP after being so spoiled! |

*cracks knuckles*...no wait, I HATE that. It's that time again, only because it's been very interesting lately. PvEishness: Journey to the end of Elona where we found an ancient weapon and had too much fun. Cool shot of my Dervish 30 minutes before buying new armor  Speaking of dervishes we have a crazy build with which to tear through Cantha. And just so Triia doesn't feel like the only one who runs through screenshots Khunlin does it too of course we were fighting...well I was posing...what can I say it was a spear I couldn't throw so I tried looking pretty with it.  PvPishness: I loved the Murderous mimes milling about trying to look inconspicuous? Ah AB where sometimes you get Kurzick insults and sometimes actual compliments:  Other times, the Luxons can be the annoying ones: There was this mesmer in black primeval armor that I was nearby (checking out the armor) and she starts in on mine! Of course I had to whip out the 10K Ancient and 15K Druids to shut her up, but by then it was too late her and her back up hoochie mamas had earned the wrath of The Grand Republic. So the [pets] guild learned not to mess with us after that sync dancing rumble kicked their pansy little mesmer fannies, of course it was so pathetic Triia had to tell them how to sync... And in my defense on the other comment... just because I thoroughly enjoy filling silly little assassins full of arrows, poison and bloody gashes and watching them die slow, painfully crippled deaths (repeatedly ;D) doesn't mean I don't have a softer, feminine side. I appreciate a nice club-wielding manly man as much as the next girl. |

I honestly don't know about the Monday thing, unless it's because I don't typically play on Sundays or maybe it's what going back to work each week does to me.  And in my defense on the other comment... just because I thoroughly enjoy filling silly little assassins full of arrows, poison and bloody gashes and watching them die slow, painfully crippled deaths (repeatedly ;D) doesn't mean I don't have a softer, feminine side. I appreciate a nice club-wielding manly man as much as the next girl. Amen! And any insult from the opposing team, particularly dastardly Kurzicks, should be taken as a great compliment. |

Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm not really sure if it's a Monday thing or not, but in any case, you painted such a wonderfully accurate picture, from the "hoochie mamas" to the "pansy little mesmer fannies"... It certainly gave me a good laugh! |

Well, this is an incident that seems to happen fairly often - I often AB with Nick's guild, and sometimes, one of us actually loads into the Xunlai Chest. It isn't all that amazing but I wished to share it anyway. >.> |
