Ok.... where to start.....? Well, there's always the warnings about excessive drinking. Just don't do it, kids. It can really mess with your head. And even the memories can still make me dizzy. Also, don't disregard the warnings about the monk gangs. Just when you think you can trust them, they'll turn on you. Epic soloing: Delor and Malae. Greetings from a dentist's nightmare. MWAHAHA!! Off to terrorize the kiddies! Logo's favorite kind of friend; quiet, cheerful and pointy. My Tai Chi and levitation practice are coming along nicely. It doesn't take much to keep me happy. I'm afraid that I didn't get many screenshots of the PvP weekend, but these are pretty. Cherry Blossoms, Misty Scene, my shot of the Zaishen Elite entrance. Candy, Wizard's Isle, and Triia... What more could anyone want? Triia descends from the heavens. Malae looks fabulous enough... too bad he brought a plastic sword. Bow to Logo, leader of Hero's Ascent! Chapter II: In which the Great Republic Marvels at the Beauty of the World and SuchAn amazing shot of the invaded Tombs. The fog rolls in over the waterfall. I want to join his religion. A ship. (Sorry, it's just not that interesting.) Chapter III: In which the Great Republic raids the Hall of Heroes in search of Greens, driving Logo to InsanityA nice panorama of the courtyard to the Hall of Heroes. We arrive at the Hall. The Hall of Heroes looms before us. Logo starts laughing hysterically in the face of such danger. (Take my word for it.) Trying desperately to regain his composure, Logo managed to hold the camera steady long enough to get this shot of the inside of the Hall. Dealing Darkness. Ah hah...check out the way aW  was camping the altar with the ghost.Note my health bar and the spirits. It's the symbiosis, fertile season spirit/enchantment build I love! Can you imagine the health of their ghost (assuming they are affected the same way)?? No wonder we couldn't kill it. FoW and EoE screens to come, but I had to get that one up. |

This is clearly the most fun I've ever had playing Guild Wars! The entrance to the Forge looms before us. Malae's caffeinated rampage lurks behind us. Finally reaching the forge, we find that the crafter has run far, far away, no longer able to stand the rantings of 710 mL of pop personified. d**n that Dan Turk! Well, I finally got some screenshots uploaded. I took waaaay too many over the weekend, although I’m sure Jupiter far outdid my collection. Some nice scenery: Waterfalls, waterfalls and more waterfallsI’m not sure why they still need lighthouses, but they look nice. Overlooking the city and a shot of the marketplace where you can find…..interesting dancers. Malae and I made an interesting find in the Jade Sea. A shot of a border town and some ruins in the Petrified Forest. The troops waiting for orders to move out. Kuunavang showed up to see us off. Despite his size, he managed to get around from place to place (mmmm... roasted ritualist) quite quickly. At the beginnning of the weekend, it was agreed that we should take a group screen shot and true to HLR form, it was a drawn out and chaotic affair. The initial organization of the group went as expected. Once things finally started to fall into place, advenT decided it would be a good time to "act out". A little dance party helped to "shake out the sillies" and once we all mastered the /roar * emote...it was all worth it.  |

Thought I would start posting some screenies of my own... My elementalist became possessed during a ghastly visit to the Ring of Fire islands, truly putting the
Dark in Darkwind (What a pun!) Just a nice shot of the Mistress using a bow I have a tradition. Every one of my characters when going into the Arid Sea have sat upon this cliff in the very same place. Oddly Jupiter, I was going to post my version of Girl Power...but ya beat me to it The happiest day of my Guild Wars life (well, maybe the most relieving). That's it for now, not much...but the work involved to find, name, convert and then upload is just too much effort for a lazy guy like me. |
