I was going to comment on desk messes taking up whatever space is available and I'm pretty sure there's a name for that natural phenomenon, but Khunlin's post made me waste about 15 minutes reading and re-reading to see if any of that registered as making sense and now...

Umm.... yeah, pretty much the same here. I'm not entirely convinced it's in English, really.

lol... I just spend half an hour rifling through my code and various websites on syntax to figure out why my new code was turning up over 400 errors in compilation...
Then, I realized that I had misspelled "switch" as "swtich" in my copy-pasted switch statements. Visual C++ needs a spellcheck.

Amen...can you program that? And one for VB since I'm a pre-school programmer and only use simple VB stuff?
Ha! I'm looking in my laptop bag for a place to store a cord and find an exacto knife. That would've messed me up at security tomorrow morning. And for the curious, the knife was forgotten about 4 months ago while transporting it from work so that I could do my cool snowflake cutting at home (used to have a kirigami calendar at work)...it's really quite normal...really.

lol... for some reason, I was looking through the support pages for the PSP on Sony's website, when I came across this gem: If the PSP will not turn on, first make sure that the PSP is on by hitting the power switch, of course. Now, if that doesn't work, the next step is to make sure the battery pack is charged. How do you do that? By turning on the PSP and looking at the charge indicator in the top right corner! Really... does anyone at Sony think before they write these support pages?

They assume you have the outlet adapter (sold separately).

I just saw a car with a New Mexico license plate that said "I LUV AZ"
... proof that no one... NO ONE... likes New Mexico.

It's because there's an x in it. States that have an x in the name appear too exotic for the average American. Oh, and Yay! I missed Kiwi's posts!

Here I was, minimizing through windows to get to Firefox, and as I go through Thunderbird, I see, out of the corner of my eye, a new email from "Berkeley Undergraduate Admissions"...
A moment later, I realize what I just saw, and my heart practically stops... I tab back to Thunderbird and see that they just decided to send out emails telling us that the decisions are coming on the 27th. (I already knew)...
Don't those bastards realize how cruel that was to me and every other person waiting on the edge of their seat for any word?
Bastards.
