Advisory warning that I may be busy this weekend! Crank 2's coming out this Friday and my brother and I have been preparing and have been more hyped about this than we were about The Dark Knight. I don't know exactly when we'll be seeing it on Friday, so there is the possibility that I get home pretty late... not like 11:00 late but, you know, 7:00 or 8:00. Maybe 9:00 (ADVENTUROUS!).
And Saturday, it would seem that there is talk of going to the county fair; supposedly leaving at 3:00, so don't know how long I'll be there or if we'll end up doing something afterwards... with Emily and them, you really never know. lol
So there's the warning! Prepare yerselves just in case! And if it somehow leads to not GvGing, I'm really sorry! D:

The time around the 4th is going to involve...I believe the word used was "hordes" at our house so we'll not be around for any GvG or anything that weekend.

Just because Jupiter said she would get very angry with me if I didn't post it, I may be late to GvG tonight. I have a concert from 7-9pm EDT, then I may or may not be going out to eat with other members of the orchestra. So, I will get home as quickly as I can, but no promises.

Lauren's in town for the next week or so, starting today... even though we broke up, there's still an obligation to treat her as a guest if she's going to come down here, IMO. I'm heading out now and I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I won't be out too late. Just a forewarning that I might not be home in time for GvG, or I might miss a few matches.

Just to make it official... Kiwi and I are gonna be out of town starting Friday, coming back when we get bored or run out of money... but I believe we had to be back before the 24th or something for some sort of... explosions... convention... or something. I wasn't really paying attention.

My beautiful hand-built RAID array that allowed me to load first or second pretty much every time up and died on me. I had 2 Seagate 500GB drives in RAID 0, and one of them went kerput. So I have lost all my data, and my computer no longer boots. I think I'll blame Jupiter because it is convenient to do so; though most likely it is Malae's fault.
Needless to say, I will be out of action until I wrestle with Seagate customer service to get a replacement drive (not to mention contacting a service to try to recover my data). Yes, I know everyone needs a backup. I was just too lazy to make one. I'll be back when I can.

Backups are for pansies, even if the RAID 0 doubles my chance of data loss.

I checked into how much it would cost to have a data service retrieve my lost files: $2900. No, not twenty nine dollars, but two thousand nine hundred dollars. That is more than 3 times the cost of my entire computer. It's a good thing I didn't really have anything worth saving, besides all of those *ahem* completely legal TV shows.
I have requested a replacement drive from Seagate, so I should be back online in a few days.

Probably gonna be out to dinner with our visitors at GW time tonight... but they'll be gone tomorrow morning so we have lots of epic GvG time! YAY!

I'm afraid that we don't play very much at the moment. The occasional PvE Adventure (Dhuum!) is about all we manage. You're welcome to join us for those, if you want!
