I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread for this, so here's an interesting find. I don't know if any of you have heard of Sarah Brightman... I got to see her in the original cast for Phantom of the Opera with Michael Crawford... amazing. Can't say that I followed her or am a fan but this video caught my attention. And here's a treat so my post is more fitting for this thread. Poor Sarah... she was young and probably needed the money. D:

My dad loves Sarah Brightman, and we used to watch clips of her doing the Phantom of the Opera all the time.

So, I have a somewhat long story to accompany this video: I'm not sure if any of you follow IRL racing, but my father has been in racing all of his life, owned one of the first small race teams in the IRL when it first formed (the reason I currently live in Indiana), so he's been around the business forever. May is the month of the Indy 500, which is a month-long event, so he's out at the track most of the time, currently working as a crew chief for Dale Coyn Racing. Well, on Friday, May 9th, he was walking down pit row from a friend's pit to his own, as the other side of the wall was absolutely packed, and he couldn't walk down to his pit. Right after he left the friend's pit, he turned his head for some currently-unknown reason, and as he did it, Danica Patrick was entering her pit box. Well, my dad turned his head in time to see her coming in, so he tried to jump out of the way, but the front wing clipped his foot, which sent him into a summersault, and he faceplanted on her rear wheel. Yeah, my dad got hit by Danica Patrick. He ended up with a concussion and a small crack at the base of his skull. He's now out of the hospital and doing well, just in a lot of pain, but once you see the video you'll understand he got off lucky. The funny, but terrible, thing was that when it first happened, the "breaking news" didn't have a name and couldn't show the video, so my girlfriend and I were joking that my dad was probably the idiot that got hit. Well, a couple hours later (hadn't been watching the news) his girlfriend calls up and tells me he had an accident at the track, and how he was doing...had to ask her what happened, turned out, yeah, he was the one that got hit. People keep saying that no one was at fault, but I hear that her crew chief was telling her that a lot of the blame was on her, as she was not paying attention and was going too fast. Without further ado: youtube.com/watch?v=qvdRDfJQSfg

...sorry to hear.
Glad he's doing well despite the pain.

WHAT?! (aka Barack Roll) This will probably be funny for anyone who's seen the Dark Knight... I had a hard time understanding Bale at times, but I also thought I was crazy for not being able to. XD

Hehe... I have to say, that was one thing about the movie I found mildly annoying. I thought Batman's voice was somewhat over the top. That guy made a pretty good Joker, though.

I know, I know... WoW is dirty... but I found this video hilarious... Apparently a few years ago, some outdoor boss could be lured to a nearby city, and he gained health every time he killed someone, so he basically became invincible. I just love how it looks like some sort of Godzilla flick or something.

First off, that boss looks righteous in size. A lot more MMORPG bosses need to look that big and imposing. Secondly, that video also demonstrates exactly why more MMORPGs need seamless areas instead of zones and "safety." Or, at the very least, a lot more bosses that can spawn/be pulled inside cities and possess vampiric traits. There was a glitch a few years back in FFXI after the release of one of the expansion packs where a high-level, end-game dragon boss got pulled up from its underground cave/fighting area to the top half of the zone... a place meant for level 5s or so. It was funny as all hell but uneventful because no one low-level went to that zone.
